Student Commentary:: In the title page to The Book of Ahania (1973 facsimile), a female angel floats freely through the sky, arms outstretched, seeming to push back against the forces around her. This gowned figure is likely Ahania, who was thought to “float amongst chaos.” Her golden hair flows behind her. She seems to be flying from the darkness into blue sky.
