Omeka upgrades

Once in a while, Omeka is upgraded to new software versions. This page lets you know when upgrades are expected and those that have taken place. 

Version 3.2.0 (effective November 15, 2022)

No significant changes to note. 

Version 3.1.0 (effective January 7, 2022)

Changes to note: 

• Folksonomy / Tagging module:
  You can now create tag clouds on a page in your site that will display the tags only associated with the items in your site by default. (before it would display all tags throughout all sites). Just click the "Tag cloud" page block on any page to use. 
   
• Asset page block:
  NEW "Asset" page block in Omeka help pages: You can select an asset and it links to a page within your site! You'll have the ability to add a caption as well.  Click on the "Asset" page block on any page to start using. 

Version 3.0.2 (effective August 18, 2021)

Changes to note: 

• Auto-assign new items:
  There's a new setting at the top of "Site admin" that says "Auto-assign new items" - Keep this UNCHECKED! (if checked, ANY new item created in the system - including on other websites - will show up under your site's items).
   
• Sites tab:
  When you go to add / edit an item, there is now a new tab called "Sites".  This allows you to see what sites are associated with an item. 
   
• Slightly different placement of settings:
  Your site's settings and info are now both underneath a new item called "Site admin" in your site's editing menu. 
   
• "Image Options" is now labeled "Item / Image"
  When you edit your page, the list of buttons on the right which has "Image Options", or the option to display an item or various items, is now called "Item / Image".
