What occurred

Carranza's overthrow and murder in May 1920 led to the three leaders Obregon, Calles, and de la Huerta to form the Sonoran Triangle which was a group that henceforth set the rules of the political game. The revolution entered a new phase which mainly focused on free market capitalism, social guarantees for the working poor, support from agrarian and labor leaders, a cultural revolution that promote secularism, and lastly repair and expansion of the country.
